It’s nice to be able to use StudentPhoto.com and SPS to connect with the wider student photographic community, but are you doing enough to connect with the student community on your campus? We want students to join us on-line and at Imaging USA, but most importantly, we want to be able to join you on your campus. This is why SPS provides the structure for you to start an SPS Chapter at school.

There is no cost to start a chapter, in fact the only thing you need is ten SPS members in order to get it going.

Chapters are an excellent opportunity for student involvement outside the classroom. Chapters will:

• Provide a forum for student discussion regarding the photography industry; jobs and internships; personal enrichment; school, regional, national and international issues.
• Allow you to network with over 1,000 SPS members.
• Add leadership positions in your SPS Chapter to your resume.
• Give members of your Chapter preference for student volunteer positions Imaging USA.

Get involved! It’s time to lead your community. Learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom. Networking with fellow students and photography professionals is an important part of your education.
